The ways each EPS teacher designs, implements, and assesses the student experience.

As a technology educator, I design curriculum that reflects the dynamic and evolving nature of the discipline while anchoring it in core principles of computational thinking, systems design, and real-world problem solving. My courses are structured to mirror the iterative processes used by professionals in the field—emphasizing inquiry, experimentation, and collaboration. Grounded in the technology department’s philosophy, I build learning experiences that integrate the EPS pedagogical tenets of inquiry, experience, and integration. Students engage with projects that connect to their interests, encourage interdisciplinary thinking, and explore the ethical and societal impacts of technology. I regularly revise course content to incorporate emerging technologies, current industry practices, and diverse perspectives. Assessments are thoughtfully designed to reflect course outcomes and promote authentic learning: from hands-on builds and coding challenges to peer collaboration and reflection. Feedback is ongoing and multidimensional, supporting student growth and confidence while maintaining high expectations for performance and innovation.
